The perfect sham

I love these shams. Even though my bedding usually comes with shams, I always have extra pillows on my bed and never wanted to spend the money to buy the coordinating euro shams. Thanks to these beauties, which match my bedskirt, I will never have to do that again. Yippee for plain white eyelet. They are perfect with my pale green and white summer bedroom decor

Great looking (and affordable) eyelet pillow shams

I was looking for some eyelet shams to go with an eyelet bedshirt I had around my bed. I shopped around and the ones I did find in stores were too expensive. When I saw these affordable shams online, they looked perfect, and so I ordered them. I love them! The shams have a wide eyelet trim and they look beautiful on my bed. They don’t match my bedskirt exactly but one can’t even tell the difference. Now, I will go back to Amazon.com to see if I can find some eyelet pillowcases.

They work OK

These are very pretty with the bed skirt. Would have given 5 stars if they were a bit heavier. They work OK, not perfect, with a pillow cover on the pillows. The overall effect is fresh and pretty. The price is great!

wimpy magnets = frustration

We were trying to free up a little space in our kitchen so we purchased purchased this product and hung it on our refrigerator. It succeeds in holding the paper towels, but the magnets are so wimpy that it slips when it is bumped and is practically worthless if you want to pull the paper towels off of the roll while the roll is still attached to the holder – that is just an invitation to have the whole contraption come off in your hands.

I know they claim that they are the strongest magnets available, but that is simply not true! We do not have a stainless steel fridge, so that is not the problem. We also have a magnetic dishtowel rod on the same refigerator and it never slips. This product is a big disappointment.

Magnetic Paper Towel holder

It is sturdy and very hard to get off of the refrig unless you grab it with both hands. Does not come off when you pull off a towel, like some do. I have another one (different kind) that was always being pulled off, so that one will go into the trailer. Highly recommend.

Not Satisfied

This product claims to be the strongest available, yet it is very weak and cheap. The magnets slide don’t my refrigerator and I even have other magnets under it to help hold it up, the roll of paper towel I am using is a skinny roll and still that does NOT help:( I was sooo exicted when I 1st saw this item because I thought it would be perfect for my condo and to save space, but it stinks! SO My suggestion is save your MONEY and deal with what you have. Good luck, I hope this review helped someone because no one warned me and I wish they had.

Didn’t work for my son

I was looking for a transition from the ‘miracle blanket’ which my son was quickly outgrowing. This product seemed great, lightweight and big enough. While it definitely was big enough, my son (18 lbs) could easily get out of it. The velcro I found was just not strong enough for my wiggling baby. The material is very nice however so if your child is not a major wiggler or is not super strong yet then this could work for you. I decided to switch straight to a sleep sack (even though I was scared to) and it worked out great!

Did not work for us!

When we heard about this blanket, we were very excited. Our daughter loves to be swaddled, when we get it right – however, the blankets that we have (even the ones that the hospital used to swaddle her) were not very helpful for easy swaddling. And she works herself loose because she’s getting stronger every day.

We hoped a blanket cut for swaddling with the velcro would be the solution…

However, two problems:

1. It doesn’t fit properly and she works herself loose despite the velcro – the velcro contact patches are very small – there should be a broader strip of velcro to attach to so it is more adjustable. Our daughter is small, and it is just too big on her. She swims in it. We hope it will work better when she gets bigger.

2. Fleece – decent winter solution, but terrible in the summer. And terrible if you keep your house over 60 degrees. If only it came in a lighter material (we haven’t found it).

Oh well… it definitely seems to work for some, so don’t use our review as your only basis.

THAT BEING SAID, HOWEVER, we found two other options:
1) When our kids were very young (-> 1 month) we used a large waffle weave blanket from Target (~$5) and it worked wonderfully… we can wrap it tight, and she does work herself loose after about 3 hours, but it is better than any of the previous solutions.
2) the Amazing Miracle Blanket (another swaddling blanket), was our by far favorite swaddling blanket

One other note about swaddling – whenever she has been properly swaddled (usually by an expert) she loves it… We initially told some folks who have a lot of experience with children that she liked to have her arms loose. the response we got is that most babies behave that way, and it really is the small minority of babies that don’t really like swaddling. Now that we know how to do it properly, we would agree.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my brother in laws hunting cabin–he ranted and raved about this toilet paper holder.. and that was the first thing he was installing when he arrived there. I myself thought it was very well made. I have seen these and they look cheap… this one however Is VERY WELL MADE… I will be looking to add more antler gifts to his collection. I bought the salt and pepper shaker.. but.. wish the shakers were bigger. they are tiny.. but still nice gift…

FINALLY! A slim, reliable scale!!!! Dieters rejoice! By Lebanon Mommy The scale before my purchase of this product was a heavy, bulky glass scale. Sure it looked nice, but due to small bathroom space, I couldn’t leave it in one spot and still be able to shut the door. The old scale had rounded edges throughout, so I couldn’t even sit it up on end to get it out of the way without risk of it toppling over. When the old one started giving me 4 different readings with each tap of the scale within one minute, I knew it was time for a change. After looking at several diferent scales, I opted for the EatSmart Precision Premium Digital scale. There is another EatSmart scale on the market which got favorable reviews, but this one was newer and happened to be on sale and therefore cheaper. I felt a little pang of resistance because there was only 1 review at the time of my purchase, and (if you are reading this know you know what I mean) I rely on reviews in making purchases over the internet. My purchase arrived within a week of order (I did not use expedited shipping). I took it out of the package and the thing that struck me first was how lightweight it was. I installed the four included batteries and away I went weighing everything in sight to see if I could get consistent readings. First up was my four year old daughter. She stepped on, stepped off, and stepped on again. Same weight! Next was my husband, who reluctantly performed the same task. Same weight both times!! Next it was my turn. I, of course, was not about to weigh-in “group style.” So I ran the scale up to my bathroom. I stepped on, stepped off, and stepped on again. Uh-oh. Different weight. BUT, I stepped on again and got the same weight I got the second time around. I did that three or four more times and got the same weight again and again. Afterwards, I went downstairs and read the owner’s manual for the scale. THIS IS IMPORTANT: IF YOU MOVE THE SCALE (AND I MEAN EVEN AN INCH OR SO), YOU NEED TO TAP IT ON AND LET IT TURN ITSELF OFF. THIS PROCESS IS WHAT MAKES THE SCALE ACCURATE. IF YOU MOVE IT AND IMMEDIATELY WEIGH YOURSELF, YOU WILL GET A DIFFERENT WEIGHT BETWEEN THE FIRST AND SECOND READINGS. The LCD screen is bright and super-easy to read. Readings appear to be accurate . . . I correlated them with an archaic dial scale I have where you can roll the dial to zero the scale. One of the surprising finds for me about this scale is that it is so slim in height that my doors can breeze right over the top without coming in contact with it. You know you want to : ) 120 of 127 people found the following review helpful. near PERFECTION By feedback Everything is right about this scale except the following: 1) The product description should make it clear that this scale cannot be used on carpet and should be mentioned in the bulletpoint list. The scale has strain-gauge sensors in each of its four feet, thus if they are on an uneven surface the scale will output multiple changing weights. i.e. it becomes an unstable system. This is even true for very low pile carpet of apartments, almost entirely flat though enough give to render the scale useless without a solid base. So, I cut a piece of Masonite approximately 11″ square and put it underneath and it works well-enough to stabilize the scale. A 12″ square would work better. The product description should clearly indicate the need for hard floors while also providing instructions on using the scale on low-pile carpeted surfaces via an additional base which could either be sold with the scale or made at home. It is then mainly an issue of knowing in advance that hard flooring is needed, and those using the scale on low-pile carpeting will need an additional base. Providing customers with this information resolves the issue prior to purchase. 2) A previous anomaly has since been effectively addressed by the company. The company president called to discuss the issue. Not only did they acknowledge it existed, they already had a fix on the way and shipped out a replacement unit. Because of this admirable customer service I have changed my earlier review from 4 stars to 5 stars – this scale and the company that stands behind their products deserves it. It is both an excellent scale and value. It is also aesthetically pleasing. My first and remaining impression: I love it. All of them measured with an error up to 1 lb per weighting. I had to hit them and step at least three times and average the result to get accurate reading. Makes you want to hit them harder every time. But this scale is a blessing. Here are my pros: - Fine precision, measures right every time - Big back-lit screen - No need to hit it, just step on it - Has a switch for pounds and kilograms – this was very important for me and it was not written clearly on the product description - Looks nice, feels stable and well built - Price. Normally you would suspect to pay a premium for the best product. But here you receive it for the normal price of other similar not so good products Cons: - My 2 year old likes it very much and weighs herself a lot for fun.
